Before adopting cloud services, the customer used to incur significant labor costs by installing applications on clients' local computers. The company lacked its own fault-tolerant computing infrastructure, modern data center, or dedicated communication channels. In order to ensure reliable client access to its services and avoid large one-time investments, the customer required a range of services, including Desktop as a Service and related support at an infrastructure level. As a result, an isolated network segment was created in CROC's public cloud using virtual private cloud technology.
