Transferring business data of Russia based operations to CROC’s Cloud

CROC Сloud
Personal Data Cloud

Project objective

Ensure business continuity, comply with uniform IT industry standards and provide security against the possibility of regulatory claims.

As a result of mergers and acquisitions during 2017 and 2018, SK Operations’ business grew dramatically. The company inherited some services and systems hosted on both local and international sites. Finally, SK Operations’ management decided to consolidate data and services within a single cloud platform hosted on Russian servers. The migration involved several business-critical IT systems, including a warehouse management system (WMS), customer relationship management (CRM) and electronic data interchange (EDI) databases.

  • Resilient app operation via CROC’s Cloud
  • Data storage compliance
  • Significant capacity increase to allow for optimal servicing of the Russian market
  • Migration completed on a tight timeline without interrupting business processes
Andrew Taylor, Vice President for Operations, SK Operations
Operating in the service industry, we are extremely concerned about the reliability of service and data integrity, as well as local law compliance, and thus always strive to meet local regulatory requirements. When choosing a provider, we take into account its expertise, cloud platform resilience, and conformity certificates with globally recognized organizations such as the Uptime Institute and Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council.
