Russian branch of Crocs, Inc., a world leader in comfortable casual footwear for women, men and children, now leverages CROC Cloud to ensure reliability and high performance of its 1C and some infrastructure services. Moreover, CROC Cloud hosts the retailer's testing environments for several outside IT development teams. This flexible and scalable cloud platform helps accelerate and improve product roll-out and manage costs by team.
As a result of the project, the customer not only reduced CAPEX, but also dramatically accelerated its 1С-based key enterprise management application. The entire on-premise infrastructure was precisely replicated in CROC Cloud. The company’s experts advised the customer all the way, from design to migration to further system development in the cloud.
“We chose this service provider for two main reasons. First, CROC Cloud fault-tolerance guarantees continuous availability of our services. Second, such high-speed response and customer-focused approach are very hard to find on the Russian market. CROC Cloud Services specialists can solve any problem within a day and, most importantly, they are easy to reach without any formalities or red tape,” said Evgeny Lipatov, IT Manager, Crocs Russia.
“The migration of 1C systems to the cloud is becoming a routine operation for us. In 2020, we upgraded our infrastructure, launched a new storage tier for such applications, and boosted our skills in the course of several large projects. Now, we know exactly how to optimize cloud platform and infrastructure software operation for 1C, aggregate all 1C roles on one virtual machine for shared memory, translate physical keys, and much more. Thanks to our comprehensive infrastructure and application background, our usual Gilev’s 1С load test score is 35 (sometimes 43) points,” said Maxim Berezin, Business Development Director, CROC Cloud Services.
