CROC Cloud Services and itelligence Help Pharmstandard Halve SAP System Support Costs
Pharmstandard, Russia's largest pharmaceutical manufacturer, has decided to migrate its critical SAP business systems to CROC Cloud Services data center. Moving ERP, warehouse management, production planning, analytical data storage, and forecasting systems to a new site cut outsourced infrastructure maintenance costs in half. Design, procurement, equipment commissioning, test migrations and, finally, the launch of services in a new data center were completed in a record-breaking period of three months, when it usually takes at least half a year.
Pharmstandard has been relying on a comprehensive SAP-based solution to ensure business process efficiency and continuity for the last five years. Meanwhile, systems hosting was outsourced to an SAP hosting service provider.
However, in 2020, CROC Cloud Services became a new hosting provider for the pharmaceutical giant by offering the best project implementation terms and price/quality ratio. CROC Cloud Services, a business unit of IT company CROC, provided not only computing resources from its data centers, but also migration services and further infrastructure support up to application software level. In addition, itelligence, a SAP global platinum partner, ensured uninterrupted performance of SAP business applications during the project.
