Synerdocs has enabled customers to uninterruptedly use electronic waybills and consignment notes. The high-performance cloud platform of CROC Cloud Services ensures a failure-free document signing process.
In October 2019, Synerdocs presented a new feature helping consignors, carriers, and consignees generate, sign, send, and receive electronic consignment notes. Previously, Synerdocs became the first company in Russia enabling businesses to exchange legally valid e-waybills. In both cases, documents are processed via CROC Cloud.
Major consignees, carriers, and consignors need to exchange electronic waybills and consignment notes. They may sign documents using a qualified digital signature and basic digital signature, which is required by law in all cases, except for certification of universal transfer instruments and universal adjustment documents. One of the key advantages of a basic digital signature is that its holder does not need to acquire cryptographic protection tools. Such a signature is much cheaper and more usable: it can even be used on devices which do not support qualified digital signature, such as a push-button phone.
«Continuous ability to sign waybills is one of the most demanded functionalities for logistics document management,» says Ivan Agapov, Head of Synerdocs Practice. «A basic electronic signature is applied to a document to log important cargo operations such as acceptance and delivery by a driver. The service clients check online whether goods are loaded or delivered and handed over, and then take appropriate action. For example, the consignor sees in the system that the consignee has signed a waybill, and can pay for delivery immediately.»
E-documents can be signed in both warehouses or distribution centers, and on the road using chatbots and SMS.
Continuous ability to sign waybills is ensured by CROC, which uses its cloud to deploy Synerdocs service.
«We have been using CROC Cloud for five years now and are sure that this platform meets all our technical requirements, such as high performance capable of accommodating even peak loads, disaster tolerance, and a user-friendly management console,» says Evgeny Korlyakov, Development and Testing Department Engineer, Synerdocs.
«Cloud is an easy-to-use tool for IT developers. We continuously improve its functionality in order to create digital products even faster and more transparently. Using CROC Cloud as a Test/Dev environment is among the most demanded scenarios, together with critical business app hosting. Flexible scaling and cost control while taking account of the needs of each product team or project is exactly what our customers value the most,» added Maxim Berezin, Development Director, CROC Cloud Services.
