Services Store, IAM events logging and other October updates
There is now a brand-new Services Store in the CROC Cloud, where various PaaS services will appear as they become available. In addition, the Activity Log service can be used to track who is misusing their administrative powers. More about the October updates.
PaaS Services Store
All PaaS services will be available in the new Services Store section in the CROC Cloud web interface. Here you can select a service from the desired category and launch it immediately. It is still in beta: supported PaaS services are not charged — you pay only for the resources used.
Information about already deployed services can be viewed in the Running Services section. To quickly find a running service in the table, you can use the filter. If you need additional services, they can be launched right there. Several PaaS services in the database category are already available: MySQL, PostgreSQL and Redis, and the list will be constantly expanding.
Logging IAM actions
The Activity Log service now logs actions in the IAM section when users create, modify, and delete projects, roles, and other users. This helps, for example, identify the person in fault once unauthorized project deletion, granting of excessive privileges, or other events lead to critical consequences. For the complete list of logged actions, see the documentation.
Setting subnets for pods and services in Kubernetes
We are consistently expanding the capabilities to customize Kubernetes cluster so it can perfectly match your cloud infrastructure. Now, you can choose subnets for pods and services that you want to deploy to the cluster. When creating a cluster, you can now set subnet addresses. In the web interface, they are set at the Parameters step in the Kubernetes wizard. When using API, you should pass the parameters
ServiceSubnetCidr to the method
End of support for Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer is no longer supported: use other browsers to access the web interface of CROC Cloud. For the list of compatible browsers, see the documentation.
