CROC Cloud Shields Web Apps from Cyber Attacks

CROC Cloud Services and ONsec, developer of the Wallarm integrated platform designed to protect and test apps, micro services, and APIs, have announced the launch of a new cloud service for web app protection.
The service will help protect web apps hosted in a cloud against all common cyber-attacks, and ensure uninterrupted operation of customers’ corporate websites and online stores.
Worldwide, corporate web apps suffer around 85 million attacks annually. Retail, fintech, mass media, and online customer service providers (aggregators, marketplaces, etc.), as well as government organizations, are favorite targets of hackers. Such attacks can bring business processes and company activities in general to a standstill, which entails reputation risks and direct financial losses.
Web Application Firewall (WAF) is designed to eliminate such risks. The cloud service analyses traffic in real time, automatically blocks suspicious requests, including zero-day vulnerabilities (yet not resolved), and protects against OWASP Top 10 threats. In addition, CROC Cloud Services customers can use Wallarm products for web app testing during development to ensure Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)1.
