Cymulate, a global vendor of the functional SaaS-based Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS) platform and one of the leaders in application and data security , recently selected CROC Cloud, which is compatible with Amazon API, to host and support its product in Russia in compliance with Federal Personal Data Law #152-FZ, which regulates the storage of Russian citizens’ personal data.

Cymulate’s SaaS-based platform enables corporate users to automatically analyze and improve their security systems in minutes by continuously testing defenses against a variety of attacks and advanced persistent threats. The system runs simulations, on-demand or at preset intervals, to predict and block the most likely attack vectors.

«Cymulate continues to enter new markets, with the company recently starting to serve Russian customers, and constantly strives to provide high quality service. This is why we have chosen CROC, which we believe to be the most mature and flexible cloud service provider in the country,» said Eyal Wachsman, CEO of Cymulate.

When making a decision, Cymulate’s management mainly looked for a secure, stable and scalable cloud allowing for the deployment of microservice-based apps in Kubernetes.

«Upon a comprehensive survey of all key Russian service providers, we chose CROC Cloud for its automated management tools, flexible scalability, and security, as well as the fact that international experts audit this platform at least twice a year,» added Eyal Wachsman.

«CROC Cloud Services’ international customer base tripled last year, mainly due to the growing interest of foreign companies, including IT vendors, in the Russian market. Looking for new development opportunities, such businesses are opening offices in our country and using Russian cloud platforms to localize and centralize data. As a service provider, we are happy that foreign customers highly appreciate our cloud, which meets their strict requirements in virtually all respects, including the opportunity to use familiar cloud management tools like Terraform and Ansible,» said Maxim Berezin, Development Director, CROC Cloud Services.
