Soglasie Non-State Pension Fund (Soglasie) now houses its web resource infrastructure on CROC’s Cloud, with transferred items including the company’s corporate website, a portal for partners that attract new clients, and a members’ area for clients.

Since early 2017, Soglasie has been actively promoting its pension investment management services among prospective clients. To improve the resilience of its front-office systems, the Fund’s management decided to back up its web resources to CROC’s Cloud. As a result of the project, Soglasie now enjoys uninterrupted operation of its client and partner websites and less infrastructure CAPEX.

«The pension fund’s number one rule is to be as open as possible to its clients and partners by providing them with up-to-date information anytime. That is why we needed to ensure 24/7 uninterrupted operation of our web resources, through which our clients and partners access members’ areas. Thanks to the backup to CROC’s Cloud, we obtained a high-performance infrastructure and reduced financial burden on our business by lowering CAPEX,» noted Ivan Zakharov, IT Director, Soglasie Non-State Pension Fund.

The key cloud infrastructure requirements declared by Soglasie were a reliable data center compliant with Uptime Institute Tier III standard and qualified support throughout the project’s life cycle, from preparing migration to cloud infrastructure operation and making changes to web service architecture. In particular, CROC’s cloud practice (CROC Cloud Services) advises the customer’s IT staff on website software infrastructure development, installs and sets up software, as well as provides administration and support services — all as a managed service.

«Our skilled team provides us with a key competitive advantage, along with a high performance cloud platform and easy-to-use resource management tools. It seems like a cloud provider can no longer offer infrastructure alone, but also must gain an insight into a customer’s processes. Today’s cloud provider is a professional consultant that can navigate its customers, proactively fulfill tasks, and sometimes even take on the comprehensive support of not only basic IT systems, but upper-level systems as well,» noted Maxim Berezin, Business Development Director, CROC Cloud Services.
