TelemedHelp Chooses CROC's Cloud Platform

5 minutes

TelemedHelp, a platform for video consultations with physicians and which helps patients manage their medical records, is now accessible 24/7 from anywhere thanks to CROC’s cloud.

Now, you can contact a desired physician anytime without worrying about your medical data security since it is safely stored in a protected segment of CROC’s cloud. As a result, consultations with doctors are now even available to those living in extremely remote areas of Russia, where coverage of medical institutions is practically non-existent.

After downloading an application or signing up via the TelemedHelp website, a user can aggregate all medical check results and reports into a single electronic medical record. TelemedHelp supports remote appointments and communication with skilled doctors all over Russia via a video call or chat, with patients using a skills based rating system to select a doctor, who is then provided access to their medical details. The partnership with Telemed Help will help healthcare centers promote their services, while physicians will enjoy the opportunity to participate in discussion sessions with other doctors, carry out consultations and remotely monitor patient treatment progress.

«Our service can directly link patients to any doctor and streamline their communication. Using TelemedHelp, you can obtain a medical consultation while sitting at home and always have up-to-date medical data. We were searching for a reliable cloud solution to make our website and app available to users, even when running at peak loads, with one of the key requirements being a high-performance infrastructure capable of handling a large number of concurrent video sessions. Thanks to CROC’s cloud, TelemedHelp service is available to users anytime on both desktops and mobile gadgets,» says Sergey Gilev, CIO, Telemed Help.

The service is hosted on the CROC cloud platform, thus providing flexible capacity scaling to accommodate load growth, as the system will expand to national level and acquire new users. The fact that the protected segment of CROC’s cloud fully complies with Federal Law 152-FZ and other personal data storage and processing regulations ensures the cybersecurity of both the hosted web service and app.

The cloud platform is powered by CROC’s data centers, including Kompressor Data Center, which is certified for TIER III compliance by the Uptime Institute, the global leader in establishing standards for fault-tolerant data center design, construction, and operation.

«While the market offers many cloud platforms, only a few meet the stringent requirements imposed by the healthcare industry. By launching digital services in our cloud, customers reassign responsibility for service continuity and enjoy service stable operation, guaranteed by CROC’s dual SLA for 99.95% server availability and disk performance. This means that even multiple concurrent video consultations will not degrade service quality as perceived by an end user. We are delighted to see how CROC’s cloud is driving the development of in-demand and high-tech methods to perform medical consultations, such as TelemedHelp service,» says Maxim Berezin, Cloud Service Development Director, CROC.
